Takagi Hot Water Systems
For over 60 years now Takagi has been delivering hot water across the globe. The type of system which Takagi have been delivering is “tankless” also known here in Australia as continuous flow or instantaneous hot water services. The range of water heaters being offered today after 60 years of being in business start from small singular use options which can deliver 25 litres per minute through to large commercial designed packs which can be manifolded together providing high amounts of hot water during peak periods for applications such as hotels, sporting venues, shopping centres, nursing homes, caravan parks, medical centres, air ports, restaurants, ski resorts, manufacturing plants and apartment complexes.
When it comes to choosing a brand of continuous flow water heaters for commercial applications the Takagi range stand out from the crowd. There heat exchangers are manufactured from a high-grade copper alloy with added elements which make it stronger rather than cheaper brands which may use thinner grades of copper. The heat exchanger made with the advanced copper which is 25% thicker allowing it to cope with the strain placed on them during the many thousands of thermal expanding and contraction cycles placed upon it during its life in commercial applications.
The Takagi Brand
Takagi stand behind their brand when it comes to after sales service and repairs. There heat exchangers have some of the longest warranty periods on the market today. Domestic water heaters come with a 16-year warranty period and commercial water heaters with a 6-year warranty. All appliances start off with a 12-month warranty which covers all parts and labour. The entire range is then also covered by a 5 year parts only warranty. All these warranties are subjected to the appliances being installed to the manufacturers guidelines and a proof of purchase should always be kept on hand.
